With such a large area, it is a challenge to bring our members together, however their sacrifices have shown the closeness of our organization and the common desire of promoting the image of the Blue Knights.

The Blue Knights is an incorporated fraternal organization comprised of active and retired Law Enforcement Officers from every aspect of the job who share a passion for motorcycle riding. The organization was started in 1974, when a few friends from the Bangor/Brewer, Maine (USA) area decided to form a local recreational motorcycle club. Within two years the small club had become an International organization. As of September, 2008, we have 606 chapters and almost 20,000 members in 29 countries.
In addition to hosting rides for members and their families to enjoy, the Blue Knights are very active in fundraising. As of 31 December 2008 Blue Knights have donated to numerous charities; contributing time in the amount of $3,897,010 (194,850.5 man hours @ $20 per hour), goods with an estimated value of $602,319.02 and $6,572,875.27 in cash for a total of $11,072,204.29 (USD).
The Blue Knights also join Law Enforcement personnel from all over the world in promoting a positive image for motorcyclists, motorcycle safety and riding as a family recreation.
